Peugeot Mirror Screen®

Linking your smartphone to your car

Peugeot Mirror Screen® allows your compatible smartphone to communicate with your 108 or any of the 208, new 2008 SUVrange, all-new 3008 SUV range, and the 508 allowing you to display compatible apps on the 7" touchscreen and manage them using the vehicle controls.

Safe and convenient, Peugeot Mirror Screen® uses the latest MirrorLink® (for Android phones on 108 and 208) and Apple CarPlay® (for iPhones on 208, new 2008 SUV, all-new 3008 SUV, 508 Saloon and 508 SW) technology to bring smartphone connectivity to your car whilst keeping your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel.

Compatibility is based on the phone providers' original operating system and therefore may change if the phone provider offers an update which renders the phone incompatible with MirrorLink®.

Normal USB and Bluetooth® functionality is still supported for most other smartphones, accessed from the 7" touchscreen.

Active City Brake

Innovative Driving

The Peugeot i-Cockpit is an innovative driver's seat concept. It comprises four elements: a compact steering wheel for an intense dynamic feel, head-up dials so that you can read information without taking your eyes off the road, an impressive high central console and a big touch-screen for intuitive driving. Saluted by the public, the press and customers alike, it asserts itself as the identity signature for the Peugeot driver's seat.

What is PureTech?

Winner of the 2015 and 2016 'International engine of the year' award in the 1.0-litre to 1.4-litre category, Peugeot PureTech is advanced 3-cylinder petrol engine technology that offers a drive and performance normally associated with much bigger engines but with significantly improved fuel consumption and CO2 emissions*.

Put simply, a 1.2 PureTech engine gives you the power and performance of a 1.6 litre engine, but the efficiency of a smaller engine.

Peugeot: BlueHDi Diesel engine technology

BlueHDi is the name given to Peugeot’s latest generation of diesel engines. The result of a world-famous diesel heritage plus
innovation and engineering excellence developed on the race track of Le Mans, BlueHDi complies with Euro 6 emission
standards, thanks to Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) and Particle Filtration processes. This delivers exceptional fuel economy and CO₂ emissions alongside a driving experience rich in power and performance.

The innovative location of the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) positioned upstream of the particle filter with additive is the
only one which permits simultaneous:
• Reduction of the NOx (Nitrogen Oxides) by up to 90%, through the use of AdBlue® solution.
• 99.9% elimination of particles by number, through the use of the diesel particulate filter.
• Optimisation of the emissions of CO₂ and fuel consumption (up to -4% compared to the EURO 5 engines).

Clean, powerful and efficient diesel engine

Please note BlueHDI engines are some of the cleanest on the market and must not be confused with the EURO 5 engines of competing manufacturers emitting well in excess of legal levels of Nox emissions. BlueHDI engines emit such low levels of Nox that on some PEUGEOT models its is on a par with petrol.

AdBlue: The BlueHDi after-treatment system

A three stage cleansing process specifically targets the pollutants of diesel combustion, removing hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide, reducing nitrogen oxides by up to 90% and eliminating 99.9% of particulates:

  • Stage One - the oxidation catalytic converter eliminates the HC and the CO2, transforming them into water (H2O) and carbon dioxide (CO2)
  • Stage Two - the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) transforms the nitrogen oxides (NOx) into water and nitrogen (N2), which is the main constituent of air (78%), due to the addition of AdBlue® (mixture of urea and water)
  • Stage Three - the Particulate Emission Filter eliminates 99.9% of the particulates by number
