New Peugeot 2008 SUV Wins Gold

We’re delighted to announce that the new Peugeot 2008 SUV has taken the Gold award in the Small SUV category at the Auto Express Driver Power 2017 awards.

The Auto Express Driver Power survey is the biggest motoring satisfaction report of its type, with participation from more than 70,000 UK car owners who were asked to judge their car in a host of crucial areas. We’re thrilled to reveal that the new 2008 SUV scooped the Gold award in the highly competitive Small SUV category, beating ALL of its competitors.

It was highest rated in its class in five categories including Engine & Gearbox, Exterior, Safety Features, MPG & Running Costs, Reliability & Build Quality.

In presentation of the award, Auto Express stated :

Small SUVs have to strike a careful balance between practicality, frugal running costs and agile driving to suit the urban environments in which they’re often used. The new PEUGEOT 2008 SUV has done exactly this and has beaten more established competitors to the title in this competitive sector .

The Euro 6 engines such as the 1.2L PureTech 130 Stop&Start 6-speed manual, another big hit with Driver Power respondents, ensure high-level driving pleasure while remaining fuel efficient.

It was a case of double honours too, as the Peugeot 108 also collected an award, picking up Silver in the Best City Car category, achieving an overall customer satisfaction score of 89.09% and top ratings across the sector in the following Driver Power Judging Categories: Ride & Handling, Practicality & Boot Space.
