Starting from College Lane and ending in North Gate Car Park the weather stayed bright throughout the day keeping everyone in good spirits for the final slog through the grueling last kilometre.
Using one of our gleaming Citroen C4 Grand Picasso to drive as the lead clock car for the race helped guide everyone victoriously to the finish line.

A great day was had by all with 1710 runners making it past the finish line. We had some wonderful feedback from Bob Syme the Chairman of the Chichester Priory 10k Race on what a great day everyone had.
“The weather - although a bit windy - kept fine and allowed us to have 5 sub 30 minute finishers among a record total of 1710 finishers.
Thank you for providing the Lead Car and for your financing of our 25th anniversary awards. These awards were well received by our runners - consisting of a glass trophy and a £50 cheque - and were a valuable addition to our race day programme.
It was also good to have your cars present, close to the finish area adding a bit of colour to our set up.”
Our MD Perry Lee had to sit on the side line year after damaging his Achilles’ heel but we are sure next year he will be back.
Perry said 'I thought it was a fantastic event , as always!
It was great to see the finish, it really was an exceptional race, and the quality of the runners was very high.
I think it emphasises the quality of this event, its very high on the priority list of races to attend.
Its superbly organised and over a great course, the quality and sheer number of runners wouldn’t attend otherwise.
I am delighted to be involved and will continue to support this event again in the future.'
There are plenty more photos over at Chichester’s Priory 10k Website including some great finish line photos. See if you can spot yourself!
Once again congratulations from Portfield to all those who took part.
We look forward to seeing you all at next year’s race on the new route and hope to see a lot more of you lacing up the trainers and start running for Chichester.
